Schwinn Adjustable Bike Kickstand

I’ve never purchased such a terrible kickstand in my entire life. This is our second one that we tried and the screw to adjust the height is on so tight that I just crushed my finger with a pair of pliers trying to get the screw loose, and it’s so painful. I stripped the screw with a screwdriver. Had to resort to pliers. I hate this kickstand. Never buy it.

Bought this for my granddaughter's bike. She loves it.

Not a reliable stand..bike fell with wind and this stand is very unstable.

Just got this for a 26" Schwinn bike. It claims it's good for up to a 27" bike. With is adjusted to the longest setting, this just barely keeps the bike upright. Since it's on the longest setting, there isn't much of the upper post inside the lower part, so I assume it'll bend soon. Not impressed with Schwinn these days, and this isn't helping.

I used it on 20 inch and 24 inch kids bikes. I didn't have to make any adjustments for the 20 inch bike. I did need to extend it for the bigger bike and just like the other comments the screw was way too tight. It started to strip right away so instead I used pliers to grip the screw head and turn it. Even that took 5 minutes and a lot of effort. But I did finally got it done.

Details said "fits most" so we purchased this for my child's bike that came without a kickstand. However, it did not fit. You have to destroy the packaging to open it & unfortunately, we will be returning.

This is a great product. It is easy to install, it fits a kid size bike (with 16 inch wheels) and it can be made bigger to fit my son's future bikes. The kick stand is also easy to move up and down so my 5 year old son can easily move it with his foot (the very first time you move it is hard to move but after that it moves smoothly and easily).

I purchased this Schwinn kickstand for my 7 year old daughters bicycle. Bikes for youngsters usually do not come with one provided and she always has to lay her bike down or find something to lean it against. I found this at Target and ordered it online, it arrived within two days, just n time for weekend bike riding. It is awesome because it can be adjustable from 20 " up to 27". The instructions are written clearly on the back of the packaging but I quickly realized a diagram would be really useful and would have made the installation much quicker and easier. It does not tell you that after you find the hole in the frame where it will be attached to, that you place the neck of it under the hole and not on top of it. I had to go watch a youtube video to figure it out. Once we got that figure out it went on in less than 3 minutes. The kickstand works great and she loves it!

I bought this in hopes it would fit my daughter's new 18 inch bike without training wheels. It worked perfectly!! I was very pleased they carried it in the store and I was able to buy it the same day!

Holds the bike up great when my son uses it!!!

I easily put this on my daughter’s 16” Schwinn bike. And I’m terrible with tools!

Description says it fits 20 - 27 inch wheels. Read a review on here about someone who put on their kids 17.5 inch bike. I took a chance and put these on a kids 14 inch bike. Fit perfectly out of the pkg. Easy install. Just need a 17mm socket or wrench. This kick stand will be used for all future larger kids bikes as my kid grow.

Easy to install, don't know what the others problems were. Used it on my kids 17.5 Trek and worked like a charm. The stand was easy to adjust and took a second to realize there was a top screw slot to make it easier to slide the stand up and down.

First of all, I want that it gave us hope in the beginning. Then I realized that it was a piece of junk. Simplify the screw is too tight and it took almost half an hour to get it off. Do Not But thus unless you have a 20 inch bike or lower. I would not recommend this and this bike stand is a piece of junk.

I think this kickstand would be better on smaller bikes than what is recommended on the package. It would be unstable for larger bikes if you mount it to the rear. My daugter is a 18" bike and i have to adjust the 3rd last screw which works well for us but not sure about other bikes. See photos. We will see how long it last.

The screw to adjust the length was ridiculously tight, that it was impossible to unscrew. After many attempts to unscrew just to adjust the length, the plus shape of the screw is damaged to a circle shape from my screwdriver, and now no screwdriver can fit in the screw. What a waste of time and money.

Can’t adjust the length, the screw is too tight. It ended up in the garbage.

Super easy to install and adjust. I did it myself w/o the help of my husband. So far is working perfectly. Installed it in my daughter's new 20" bike.
