My 2nd grade daughter liked how it was a fiction book based on nonfictional subject matter. She liked the characters and how they all had unique talents. In the back of the book she enjoyed reading facts about the ocean and sea life. There is even a quiz in the back of the book which is great to see what they retained from reading the book. As a parent I loved that it is educational and the explorers are very diverse. She’s excited to read more books in this series!
