About the Book
"The three youngest Wilson siblings--who have formed a club of their own called Sib Squad--embark on new adventures that take them to the sea and the sky"--Book Synopsis
Bask in the gleeful rebellion of three younger siblings as they seek bold adventures far away from their older siblings in this hilarious early graphic novel from a Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist. The youngest of seven siblings, Lucy, Bruce, and Oliver are sick and tired of being told that they are too little to do the things their older siblings do. In a bout of bored frustration, they band together to form Sib Squad--a club of their own, dedicated to having "amazing, mind-blowing adventures." And adventures they have! Steve Breen crafts a riotously fun look at sibling dynamics that will be beloved by downtrodden younger siblings everywhere. In Flying High, the siblings take to the sea--where they encounter an unexpected sea monster--and to the sky for airborne escapades. As young readers delve into the trio's hijinks, they will find themselves struck with uncontrollable giggles and an unquenchable desire to seek adventures of their own.Review Quotes
Breen balances the wordplay gags and visual humor with genuine moments, creating a book that young readers will both laugh at and see themselves in. The artwork continues to channel a comic-strip quality, with expressive characters, minimal words, and vibrant bursts of color that keep the focus on the action. . . . A worthy follow-up that expands on the humor and heart of the first installment, and an excellent pick for fans of humorous graphic novels and family-centered storytelling.
