Q: How tight are the clips? Would they fit tightly on a thin fabric bin?

A: Hello - We appreciate your interest in this item. Iron bin labels are generally tight, but for very thin fabric bins, they may require a small amount of padding to prevent them from sliding off. Hope this helps. - Kevin
The item description is inaccurate as of the time of this review. Each metal frame is 3 inches wide by 1.5 inches tall. The label opening is 2-5/8 by 1-1/8 inches. Paper labels are inserted from the top. The clip on the back holds the item firmly to the bin. The item snaps perfectly over the bottom edge of the handle opening of the Brightroom metal mesh bins. The black colors match, making the labels look like they are part of the bins. While these seem a bit overpriced, they do look and feel like they will last and can be repurposed for numerous other labeling needs.
