Solo Stove 9" Mesa XL Fire Pit

I love this! Although smaller it puts out so much heat. So glad I got it!

We love using the solo stove on our small patio. Gives us the bonfire feel without need a large pit. Since it is so small, it burns through everything very very quickly so it takes a lot of work to keep it hot enough to prevent the smoke. It felt like a full time job to keep it fed. Still enjoyable and happy with the purchase.

I have the solo mesa. I got it because I enjoyed sitting around the big one my son has at his house. I never in my life learned to build a fire so it took a few tries for me to get it started the first time. Now I'm good :-) I have it on the outer railing of my deck and at night my two dogs and I enjoy the flames and watch the sun go down. So happy.

I ordered the stove for my wife. we found that it puts out heat, but the small pices of wood burn to fast. we are going to try plets.

It's really for ambience more than anything. Don't expect to feel heat. But for its purpose, it's very nice.

I recommend not using the pellets. After about 45 minutes it clogged the holes on the bottom and the fire goes out.

It’s perfect for the table! Love it as a center piece even when we aren’t using it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 4th fire pit device from solo stove. My others are the Ranger, Bonfire, and Mesa. This is one of my favorite pits, as I can fuel it with mini logs and it generates the perfect amount of heat on the deck. Its size makes it easy to clean what little ash is produced and it provides great ambiance when sitting outside and watching TV. Excellent product and I can't recommend it enough!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish it was bigger. You have to constantly feed it so it doesn’t go out. When I say constantly, I mean every 5 minutes or so. I ordered the wood for it and it is too long to fit inside so it sticks out of the stove. Won’t lay down inside. When it says to keep the fire below the holes inside it’s virtually impossible

You literally go get baby twigs to burn every time you want a fire, and it lasts max 15 minutes. . . Not worth it.
