Something Good Will Grow - by Nicole Jacobsmeyer (Paperback)

About the Book

Some flowers bloom in the dark, when no one is watching--in the quiet, the cold soil, and the colder air. That's us.

But what if you're withering rather than opening and flourishing? What if life feels like more than you can handle? Nicole truly gets that. She's known many trials--cancer, miscarriage, depression, insecurities, and rejection. And she's also known the presence and hope of God amidst her pain. She's learned the hard way, which is often the only way--the more pain, the more grace.

Nicole believes God is at work and we can trust His heart amid our suffering. You'll learn to place your pain in God's hands, be equipped to persevere, and catch a fresh vision to remain faithful. God wants to bring forth something beautiful--something good--from your suffering. Don't miss it. Even here, you can become radiant in and to a hurting world.

Book Synopsis

The more pain, the more grace.

Some flowers bloom at night. Bright beneath the moon, night flowers are among the most fragrant of flowers God created. They bloom in the dark, when no one is watching--in the quiet, in the cold soil, and in the colder air. That's us.

But what if you're withering rather than opening and flourishing? What if life feels like far more than you can handle? Nicole Jacobsmeyer is no stranger to that. She's known many trials--cancer, miscarriage, depression, insecurities, and rejection. And she has also known the presence and hope of God amidst her pain. She's learned the hard way, which is often the only way--the more pain, the more grace.

Nicole believes God is at work and we can trust His heart in the midst of our suffering. In Something Good Will Grow, she shows us what you can do when:

• life is more than you can handle
• questions or doubts arise
• you're lonely or left out
• the waiting feels unending
• your good plans are derailed
• health falters
• your efforts seem fruitless
• depression takes root
• and more

With each chapter, you'll learn to place your pain in God's hands, be equipped to persevere, and catch a fresh vision to remain faithful. God wants to bring forth something beautiful--something good--from your suffering. Don't miss it. Even here, you can become radiant in and to a hurting world.
