This is the optimal size for storing/pouring a larger volume. Easy carry, good spout, no frills. Filled with ice and topped with water is kept things chilled for 3 days, enough for a camping trip. The insulation could be better, but compared to the price of similar RTIC and YETI units? this is. a steal!

Sticking valve ruins a premium productPros: Clean design, good for kitchen use.Cons: Faulty valve mechanism, poor longevity.I am very careful with my possessions and still own working gear from the early 2000s. Unfortunately, this Stanley jug hasn't lasted even a full year. It lives exclusively in my kitchen and has never seen outdoor use. Despite this gentle treatment, the valve now sticks completely. When you push it down to pour, it stays down. You have to physically pull it back up to prevent water from spilling everywhere. There is no reason a jug at this price point should have such a flawed mechanism.

Works great for keeping ice water and the spout is great. The downside is the lid/handle situation. I have to carry this thing full of water across a warehouse while wearing a backpack and shouldering a loaded cooler, and it gets heavy. It needs a carry strap. At some point the jug took a tumble and the lining, which is attached to the clips that hold the lid that also acts as the carry handle, started to separate from the main housing. Now the latches don’t latch as tight as before. So every time I carry it with the 16 lbs of water by the handle, the lining separates even more as more of the latch screws pull apart. Needs a strap.

Works great at keeping ice cold for days and water nice and cold but LEAKS. Spout gets stuck!

Fits perfectly countertop without being too massive and taking up too much room! Stayed ice cold all day long

It literally broke it two different ways in less than 4 days of use. Waste of time and money. For a brand built for blue collar workers it didn’t survive a week

Hope this is as good as other Stanley products I have used in the passed. The shipping process and time are not making think positively. We shall see.

The top clip fell off within days and the spout also broke after one use. Very disappointed in the quality.

I bought this jug to take to baseball tournaments and we are loving it so far! It’s nice to easily be able to fill all of our water bottles during a hot day at the ball fields!

This large container is great for camping riding every thing.

I love the color, and I like how it keeps water cold for a long time but what is definitely a big problem is the spout quality not worth it to be honest

This is just the perfect size for our outdoor bar. Sits right on top of the bar top and doesn't take up too much space. Keeps the drink of the day ice cold! Love this, should have purchased this sooner.

The pour spout mechanism is made almost entirely of plastic, and mine snapped when using. Stanley says they have a “warranty” which I submitted but am being told to wait until they have replacement stock available. I have been waiting for almost a month for it to be restocked with just being told to be patient. This is something I use frequently in the summer that I now have to pay full price to replace myself. (Or their offering of a 20% discount, what a joke, as if you would buy another one of these). Would not recommend Stanley and their “warranty”

This would be a great jug if it didn’t leak from the dispenser valve housing, and sweat heavily. It does keep water and ice cold for over 24 hours!

Great while they last. I purchased a couple about 6 months ago and they both leak from the spout and and the valve sticks. Not a bad value for the price but mine haven’t held up.

Bought for our tea to serve at functions all summer long. Very durable and so easy to carry.

Great for family gatherings the 2 gallon is just the righy amount
