Try the campaign on Easy to play with a sturdier ship and more powerful weapons, or unlock Expert difficulty for an additional challenge. You can also invite a friend to join you as a gunner in two-player co-op*— experience the entire story campaign together locally or online** through GameShare*** via GameChat****!

Sharpen your skills to complete objectives, unlock additional routes through the story, and aim for a high score
Pay careful attention to your squadmates during missions—follow their cues and you can unlock different routes through each area. Not only that, but completing certain objectives can also dramatically change what your next mission briefing looks like and what missions become available.

Replay individual missions in Challenge Mode to clear specific objectives that will unlock in-game rewards like Holoviewer logs to learn about people and places.

Vie for dominance over the stars in online battles with up to eight total players
Hop online*** to take part in four-on-four team-based battles with a variety of objectives, whether with friends or with players from near and far. Use a Character Avatar to become a Star Fox character over GameChat****, and your friends will see the character animate according to your movements. You can also use AR filters to make it look like you’ve got Fox-like ears, sunglasses, and more!

And if you’re playing with friends, only one of you needs to have the game—up to four players can play Battle Mode together with GameShare*** via GameChat. You can also use GameShare via local wireless to play with friends who have Nintendo Switch™ 2 or Nintendo Switch systems!
