Stygian Steel - Black Lotus Veil (CD)

Stygian Steel began as a solo project by Norwegian multi-instrumentalist E.R. (Erlend Rønning).To bring this album to life, E.R. enlisted vocalist Abraxas d'Ruckus (Magister Templi, Molten Gold) and drummer R.K.V., who also plays alongside him in the death metal band Dødskvad. The band's goal is to create heavy metal that is evocative, atmospheric, epic, and arcane. The result is a style rooted in epic doom metal, drawing inspiration from Warlord, early Manowar, Candlemass, Manilla Road, and Viking-era Bathory. Originally released only in digital format, Black Lotus Veil is now available worldwide through High Roller Records.
