The first thing you notice about the pills that they tend to crumble. Not a good impression. They dissolve in seconds! Only I get even with just 50mg, stomach pain. This is the well-known side effect of 5 htp. I crumble them now by half, thus no stomach pain but to little results ... The next time I order the Swanson 5-HTP Enteric Coated Capsules. Better for the stomach i believe.
