Its sort of hilarious that it’s 2023 and I’ve never used a laser presenter, but its amazing. I love that it is wireless and includes a timer. The Bluetooth connectivity and wireless connection is what I’ve been waiting for. The automatic sleep/wake and vibrating alerts are key components that I love. The red laser pointer makes it easy to emphasize key slides when presenting and its compatible with Windows/Mac/Android, Ipads. I purchase another one for my sister. As a school administrator, I’ll never be without this presenter again. It makes my staff meetings seamless and productive.

I often have guided field experiences where I have to teach a lesson to a class, under the supervision of a teacher. All of the classes that I work in, have some tvs to incorporate in instruction. I immediately thought that this would be a helpful device to use when going over a PowerPoint. I just tried it out with a PowerPoint I created for a class, and it works great! It was very easy to pair to my laptop, and worked as soon as it was paired. Pairing also only took seconds.

As a daycare owner, I am finding it useful to use for PowerPoint parent-teacher meetings. It is a wireless presenter with dual connectivity (Bluetooth or 2.4GHz wireless connection), red laser pointer, and timer. It has good security with a USB receiver that supports AES 128-bit encryption. That prevents hackers from taking over your presentation or downloading viruses onto your device! If multiple people share the presenter, it good to know that it has an Antimicrobial infused protective finish. By keeping the surface cleaner, it protects the presenters, and helps to prevent the growth of microorganisms. I like that it's not bulky, and fits well in hand. The USB adapter stores at the base, keeping it accessible. The device includes a red laser pointer to use to emphasize key points of the presentation. You can move around the room using this device since it works up to about a 65 ft. range. The LCD screen timer with vibrating alerts keeps me on pace, and allows me to use my time efficiently, without a distracting loud alarm. I like it because I've had a slight hearing loss for most of my life and I can't hear many high tone alarms, but the vibrating buzz in my hand is perfect. Two AAA batteries are included and it has an LED low battery alert. The batteries seem to last a long time, yet, it's a good idea to have extra AAA batteries on hand. The intuitive controls help me to make presentations effortlessly. The Targus Control Max Professional Presenter is useful for teachers, students, and business professionals. It's perfect to use for business proposals, educational purposes, church events, family reunions, and so much more. It really is a handy tool that makes presentation a snap.

It is slightly strange that there isn't an on/off button but it seems to sleep/wake as needed so I'm hoping battery life is sustainable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We're Jr. Church teachers as and had been looking for something to use while we walk around the classroom while we teach. This works great. It was a bit hard to connect to the laptop as the light never started to flash to connect it via Bluetooth. Once I put the dongle in it responded right away. The only thing that would make it better would be the ability to scroll and click on tabs to change between web pages so no matter where in the room we are we could flip from songs to the lesson to any videos we found.

I’m a teacher coach and I spend my days presenting to faculty and staff. A presenter is necessary, but this one with a timer is an absolute must!

Smooth running, clicks and moves to next slide with no issues. Has laser for use while using a slide to point out certain areas of interest. Antimicrobial is a huge plus with more than one user. Has a sleep wake feature so if you forget to shut off it will automatically turn off to save on battery. Also comments via Bluetooth.

Simple and easy to set up and use. I have a Mac but it looks very universal. Only comment is that it is well sealed so you need scissors or knife to open the packaging. Recommended!

This is not your typical run of the mill laser pointer as it also has a built in LCD screen to monitor your remaining time for your presentation. Lastly, connectivity is seamless as it supports connections over both Bluetooth and via a USB receiver.

You do not have to press the laser button down very hard at all to make it come on. I love that this device comes with batteries. The fact that the USB adapter stores in the bottom of the device when it is not being used is really handy. Set up is also very easy! Make sure your laptop has enough USB ports if you are using other USB accessories simultaneously. I LOVE the factor that there is a timer function because it allows me to progress through my presentation with getting behind on time. The device vibrates in your hand when the timer goes out so don't worry about any surprising noises!

It is super easy to connect with bluetooth or the included adapter that has a handy spot on the back of the remote so you don't lose it. After connecting, it worked right away with my PowerPoint slides. The left and right buttons work well along with the shut off screen and leave slide show buttons. I really like the black screen button for a quick way to turn off the screen if needed. The times buttons on the side are also easy to use if you want to see a time countdown on the LED screen. Two issues I have with this is that the vibration signaling when the timer ends is not very strong so you can easily not notice it. Also, the buttons do not give much feedback so it can be difficult to tell if you actually pressed them. These are not major problems, but they were surprising.

The pointer vibrates at certain intervals to remind you of the time. The laser works well and the USB is a nice option if you don't have WiFi available. The pointer is comfortable to hold and lightweight, too.

It is easy to use and I love the laser. It is sturdy, and I think it will last a long time. It works with my computer too.
