Poorly made abd not functional
I was excited to see this in the store because I was looking at models online and it’s easy enough to see it and pick up in store. I wanted to love this but it’s going back. The size is nice, albeit slightly too small. The ring light itself is also too small and not bright enough (it also has a plastic cover) the phone holder is cheap and holds the phone exactly where the power buttons are for my iPhone 15. Extremely frustrating and the phone holder is also very cheaply made and difficult to open. Then the metal piece that holds the phone in the middle of the light is completely in the way. Unusable for me and I’m returning it sadly. Wish this was better designed. I thought $45 was a lot but it looked nice so I bought it. After using it it feels like a $15 lamp. I’m returning it.

Versatile Lamp
I love the versatility of this lamp for combined task and background lighting for video conferencing on my laptop. The dimmer switch changes the light intensity from soft warm to bright daylight. The lamp also has two points for adjusting height and up/down angles. (There is a third adjustment dial on the bottom, but it doesn't seem to do much.) I agree with other reviewers about the phone holder. I had better success switching the holder to face the front and using the dial under the lamp head to move the whole thing so that my phone can rest in front of the light. However, that won't work for most people. I should also note that the lamp head only adjusts up and down, not left to right. Overall, it works well for my needs and looks good on my desk!

It is only a lamp
I AM SO UPSET. I have bought this light twice thinking, I WAS THE PROBLEM. Target dont you test your products? I spent the little time I have trying to create content and i just couldnt get it to fit my Iphone. Its an Iphone, shouldnt this have been tested?? Dont bother buying this, Im upset i wont be able to get my money or time back for this, dont buy it.

needs to be bigger, heavier and just better for $45.
for $45 don't waste your time. I have a pixel 6 and it barely fits the phone. the phone holder doesn't come out so you can't even just lean your phone in the ring light. light is too small to brighten any space. deff not good for recording anything just a regular desk lamp . if this is supposed to be a contender to the canvas lamp it's way too small.

Rip off lamp of Small Family Business
This lamp is a nearly identical rip off of a small family business who has been around since 2020 that designed this lamp for artists and creators. The product photography is even eerily similar to theirs. Target once again undercutting hardworking small businesses for their gain.

Do Not Order Online!
Only buy this lamp in store - do NOT order online! The flimsy box Target shipped it in to fly around while FexEx destroyed the box - it is a miracle the lamp survived and lit when I plugged it in. The product tag was knocked completely off the lamp. Very shocked and disappointed that Target would ship something in this manner. I wish I was surprised FedEx destroyed the box.

The springs in the phone holder pop out EVERY TIME I put my phone in and it is wildly annoying to get them back in.

Very handy adjustable lighting
This is a good little task lamp that can also double for content creation, if that’s something you’re interested in. There are three modes and you can vary the intensity of the light between them. I’m docking one star just because the first light setting can flicker if it’s not up high enough and because I’m not sure how you would replace the light once the bulb burns out. I really like the setting options and how adjustable the positioning itself is. It also looks really nice on my desk.

LED ring light task lamp
I love this very adjustable task lamp, but feel the built-in phone clip was kind of an afterthought. The phone clip is kind of poorly engineered and the ring light is almost too small to accommodate a good view through you phones camera lens. I could see this being useful if it was a battery powered light fixture, but the cord kind of limits you for placement unless you have an extension cord or portable power supply. I decided this light would be better used as a light for my coffee corner and it works wonderfully there. All in all, it works great but could stand to be improved upon.

Functional and stylish
The Threshold LED Ring Light Task Lamp is very functional and has two light settings (white & soft), both dimmable, neither bright. There are lots of positions that are offered by this lamp. Only issues are the teeny tiny instruction "manual" and brightness. Hola phones well.

Adjustable
This task lamp is awesome. I use it for my bedside lamp but my son has also used it to record himself drawing since it has a phone holder in the back of the light ring, which worked great. I like how you can adjust the lamp. It also is dimmable with 3 different lighting settings.

Not just for influencers
The task lamp is very well built with a solid wooden base and adjustable metal body. I’m no influencer by any stretch of imagination but I find the ring light extremely useful on conference calls as I work a desk job and have the luxury of WFH (I probably won’t use the phone holder option but it’s still worth it!)

Beautiful lamp!!
Very impressed with the functionality and design of this task lamp. I love the overall look of the wooden base with the black stand. The stand is adjustable in three places with knobs to tighten to keep it in the position you choose. There is also a dimmer knob to adjust the lighting - low light, normal light, warm orangish glow to bright fluorescent. The ring light also has a built in phone clip which is perfect for filming. Amazing quality! Thank you!
