About the Author

LINDA BAILEY has written almost forty books for children, including When Santa Was a Baby and Carson Crosses Canada. Most recently, she has indulged her love of dinosaurs with The Great Dinosaur Sleepover and Lena the Chicken (But Really a Dinosaur!). Her books have been translated into twenty-four languages and received awards that include the California Young Reader Medal, the Ontario Blue Spruce Award, the Georgia Children's Picturebook Award and the UK School Library Association Information Book Award. Linda lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, where she works at her all-time dream job -- making up stories for kids.

BRANDON JAMES SCOTT is the author and illustrator of The Skeleton and the Cat, and the illustrator of over fifteen other picture books, including A Bear, a Bee, and a Honey Tree, I Was Born a Baby and Snow Falls. Brandon has also worked in animation for two decades and created the award-winning Netflix series Justin Time. He lives in Burlington, Ontario, with his family, which includes its own little Betty.
