JEN WILLIAMS is a writer from London currently living in Bristol with her fiancé, fellow fantasy author Peter Newman, and a dramatically fluffy cat. A fan of witches and dark folklore from an early age, these days she writes character-driven fantasy novels with plenty of banter and magic. She was nominated for Best Newcomer in the British Fantasy Awards, and her books The Ninth Rain and The Bitter Twins both went on to win Best Fantasy Novel, which she won again in 2024 for Talonsister. The Sleepless duology is her first YA fantasy series.
