Thomas' Cinnamon Swirl Bread - 16oz

Orkin towards five stars wondering how I have half a loaf of swirl bread, cinnamon 100 cal with a date of August 15, 2023 and still no mold

I have used this cinnamon bread for breakfast for many years, buying 2 loaves at a time. My last two purchases have been disappointing. The bread is crumbling, and much too soft. Don’t know what has changed.

It’s the morning of the 14th and the expiration on the package is the 16th. I pulled the first four pieces out of the package because the entire top of the loaf fell off and crumbled away. I toasted two and from the first bite I knew I wouldn’t finish. In my opinion the dough is so over process it’s a miracle the loaf can stay together. There was little moisture in the loaf and so toasting (light brown) made the bite taste crusty without barely a taste of cinnamon. It lacked even though it appeared to have more raisins than usual. I was upset. This has been one of my morning joys with coffee. I don’t do this as a rule but I thought the maker needed to know what the product experience was like. When I found the scannable image for this report I noticed the brand was not my old faithful. It was “Thomas bread swirl cinnamon”. That was an incredible discovery. For years I bought Thomas bagels and was quite happy. Not with this product! I’ve done my duty, and now you know my first experience with your cinnamon swirl.

Flavor and texture is good, toasts well without drying out. Last two loafs boat a couple weeks apart the top 1/2 to 3/4 inch just breaks off, sometimes with an air bubble in the loaf. This is all they way through, not just a small section.

This loaf of cinnamon swirl bread list the top part of the swirl! It had started on the first slices as just a hole, as yeast breads sometimes have. But it got large enough that the bread list it's top crust and the piece of toast was definitely smaller than usual.

Now contains stevia which is linked to gastric upset and leaves a nasty after taste, went in the trash

Purchased this product every single slice was split in half at the top the entire loaf crumbled after 2 incomplete slices were removed

The bread is dry and breaks apart when taking slices out of the bag. I will not buy this brand of bread again. I have to turn my toaster upside down to get bread to fall out.

I bought a loaf 2 days ago and it us so bine dry that each slice falls apart when touched. Not one slice could be carefully placed in the toaster whole. Instead pieces were toasted while smaller pieced fell to the bottom and burned, smoked and otherwise made the experience terrible!

I stopped buying your cinnamon bread several months ago because the tops would crumble off less cinnamon flavor. I decided to try it again and still the same problem. I like the taste and texture of Thoma's cinnamon bread better than Pepperidge Farm's cinnamon bread. I wantef to send a picture but didn't know how.

Love the taste and better with butter.

Personally, I'm a fan of cinnamon bread, this tasted good. I do think that Pepperidge Farms is a much better product, but this will do. The flavor is bold and it toasts up well. Haven't come across a stale loaf since I've been buying it. To me, the price is a bit more expensive given the volume.

If you don’t want a cinnamon bread that’s gooey, this a really great tasting one. It’s also healthier per slice than some other brands, but still has a great cinnamon taste.

Really Good!!!! Excellent cinnamon taste and doesn’t have a bunch of crumbly sugar all over making it too sweet like the other brands like Franz. I think it’s gross with all the sugar all over it unless you don’t care abut your health. Not too mention when I go to buy cinnamon bread and open it and see a ton of crumbled up sugar smashed all over the bread., that isn’t it hat I thought I was buying. And it makes it too sweet. If you just want cinnamon bread with cinnamon then go for Thomas, it’s wonderful with some tea or coffee!!!!

Worst cinnamon bread ever. I went to buy the Pepperidge Farms cinnamon bread but they were completely out of stock of all their bread on the day I went. Not sure if they were waiting on shipment or what. I decided I'd give Thomas's brand a try since I buy their bagels. Worst mistake ever. I had to add cinnamon AND sugar to the bread to give it flavor. It was like eating plain white bread. And the slices aren't even the same thickness per slice. If they are out of the other brand don't even bother wasting money on this one cause you will be super disappointed.
