  • A: While we haven’t tested using Colby Jack Cheese Snack Portions to make homemade fried cheese sticks, they wouldn’t melt in the same way as mozzarella and would have a different texture and consistency when cooked. These snack portions are best enjoyed straight from the package. Next time, you could try our Whole Milk Mozzarella Snack Portions for a more traditional "mozzarella stick"!

    Great Flavor and Perfect for so Many Recipes!

    Tillamook brand of cheese is one of my all-time favorites. You can absolutely tell the difference in this versus one of the other big brands. It taste fresh and creamy even being in a bag already shredded. I love that the packaging looks natural and not super processed. For the price you can’t beat it. Many stores have deals and it’s pretty comparable to the other major brands. I would definitely recommend this brand in this specific flavor.

    Great texture

    The texture is the best and I love the flavor of this one! I can eat it by itself or melted on bread! This is my favorite cheese brand by far and the packaging makes sure it lasts awhile without water condensing for a moldy environment
