Q: Is Tillamook cheese kosher?

A: Hello and thank you for your question! We currently only make one certified kosher cheese, which is our Kosher Medium Cheddar 8 oz Block. However, all of our cheeses (with the exception of our Maker’s Reserve 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 cheddars) are considered vegetarian and do not contain any animal-derived ingredients besides milk. A: Hi John, thank you for your question! Tillamook Cheese is 100% real cheese, made with high-quality milk from cows not treated with rBST. The only ingredients we use are Cultured Milk, Salt, Enzymes, and Annatto. In contrast, processed cheeses usually have a long list of ingredients including preservatives, emulsifiers, artificial coloring and flavors, and salt. We hope this helps!
