Heavy duty and well made
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Supporting umbrellas on our deck has been a challenge for us. Our deck is raised and the wind wreaks havoc on our umbrellas. We decided to try the Pure Garden umbrella base. The base weighs 26 pounds and has held up against Mother Nature! One of the things we love about this base, is that it is preloaded. We did not have to drag bag of sands up and make a mess falling, or fill with water. It saved us a lot time , frustration and mess! Setup was easy, just a few minutes and the base comes with three different fittings for different sized umbrellas. Added features to functionality is the look. The base is very well made and very nice looking on our deck. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our previous umbrella stand was old and rusting so we were happy to upgrade. This pure garden umbrella base is awesome. Super sleek design and we’ve had no issues with it. We haven’t had it very long so can’t say how well it holds up but so far so good.

My umbrella fits perfectly, nice and snug, not wobbly at all. Nice weight too. It gets pretty windy here and the weight keeps the table from flying! Love it!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice design for an umbrella base. It fits perfectly in between the offset umbrella base's supports. At 26 pounds this is a decent base weight but you will need at least two of them for a larger umbrella. The plus side is the more you use (up to four, obviously) the better it looks as the pattern on top of the base is complete. However, I used two and it works just fine for a 72 inch umbrella.

Luckily the Pure Garden 26lb base weight did the trick. I love that it has a carrying handle for easy moving. Now I know my umbrella will stay on the deck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Pure Garden Outdoor Umbrella Base at 26 pounds perfectly supports out 9 foot umbrella. Our old stand was enforced additionally with garden bricks to assure the umbrella wouldn’t “take flight” with a strong wind but I’ve found that the injected concrete core and water proof shell is perfect for durability and dependability. You can’t go wrong with the Pure Garden Umbrella Stand and maybe you too can get rid of bricks for added weight to your old umbrella stand!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow is this base heavy and works great!! Unless you're in a hurricane prone area, this umbrella base will certaintly hold up to higher winds. Of course if high winds are expected in our area I always lower the umbrella anyways, but as an older person, I do sometimes "forget" to do certain things, and lowering the umbrella is one of them. I use this with a 9 foot umbrella and a 14 foot. I forgot to lower it and we had 30-40 mph winds one day and forgot to lower the 14 foot and to my surpise it was still standing in the morning. I think it not only has to do with the weight of the base, but also the width and this is an excellent choice for both. To me, the wider and heavier the base, the less likely it will be to tip over.

Heavy, well-constructed base holds a large umbrella. I needed an umbrella base that would keep my umbrella in place without it falling over and this one surely fits the bill. At 44 pounds I don't think my umbrella is going anywhere! I like the design and shape of this and it was very easy to put together. It fits perfectly in the corner area where I have my umbrella. I love that it has a long cylinder to attach the umbrella pole to and the side screw really keeps it stable. This is the perfect base!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the Pure Garden Square Umbrella base free for a honest opinon. Well constructed and heavy base which holds large umbrella. I am using this base as a free standing umbrella holder in my back yard so I can sit out in my lounge chair and be covered in shade. This base will hold un in any weather. Looking forward to using this and my umbrella for many years to come. Recommend this base to use with umbrella as it ultimately protects you from the sun.

The best feature is the carrying handle that pops out and allows you to easily transport. That was genius and makes it very portable. I’m looking forward to getting a couple more and making the base complete.
