My Grandchildren Love This.

Movie night at my house is when we bring R2D2 out. I've had this more then a couple of years and it works great still. It's nice to pop corn the old fashion way and it comes out light fluffy and crunchy good. Popcorn goes right in the bowl (which is R2D2 head) with no problems. Has a plastic cup that fits right above the top that you put butter in and it melts for you while you pop the popcorn. My grandchildren love this and so do I.

Not well designed...

I would find it hard to believe they actually tested this item before sending it to market. The well is much too short, kernels on the bottom pop first, shooting hot un-popped kernels aggressively across the kitchen. More unpopped kernels come out than popped. It makes good popcorn if you have the patience to run it 6 times. Like it for the novelty, would not recommend for the function

We loved how it looked but it was too loud and scared are 2 year old son. So we took it back.
