A: Thank you for your question! Pop Secret’s Jumbo Popping Kernels can definitely be popped in your microwave. Remember to always use a microwave safe container and it’s best to use a container with a vent so the corn remains crispy. There are several silicone popcorn bowls designed to pop popcorn in your microwave that are available online. The Pop Secret microwave popcorn bag is designed to minimize the unpopped kernels so without that technology you may have a few more unpopped kernels.

Huge popcorn kernels. The secret to getting good popcorn flavor is the oil used. Safflower oil brings out the best flavor cooked on the stovetop. This is the only way to make popcorn. If you want big, flavorful kernels go to your stove. I only wish my Target still stocked this in store so I don’t have to have it shipped.

The kernels are big but flavorless. The main issue is that they take longer to pop and many of the kernels don’t pop, which leads me to believe they are old kernels. Orville is a bit pricier but worth it way more than Pop secret

It makes nice big pieces of popcorn, but the taste is lacking. It also has lots of kernel skins which get stuck In your teeth. I like the Orville white kernels better for sure.

We use our whirley pop pan with avocado or coconut oil and a teaspoon of popcorn salt (flavacol) and it’s better than the movies theaters!
