Easy to assemble after an initial figuring out the top and bottom and instructions written in broken English. So far, so good, and it feels very sturdy, fits well on the bottom of my 32" stairway. It's going to prevent my old cat with dementia from freaking out now that he can see me. Before I used an old door to block him upstairs because he started peeing everywhere downstairs: on kitchen counters, his brother's bed and favorite places to sit, dining table, etc.
