I’ve never heard of the brand, Unique Bargains, so I was hoping to find a better mat than I have currently. I ended up going with the Blue Gradient Striped Microfiber Shaggy mat. First and foremost, it looks great in my bathroom. My bathroom is a bit smaller, so this 16 x 24 mat is perfect size and fit. It’s described as shaggy, however, I wouldn’t say that’s an accurate description. It’s a bit thinner, and there’s not much shagginess. However, it’s definitely one of the most comfortable bath mats that I’ve ever felt. The mat does grip to my bathroom floor well; I’d say a bit better than the one I was using previously. Slipping is definitely not a thought that crosses my mind when I’m using this bath mat. Because this mat is microfiber, it does also soak up water rather well. In addition, the material dries rather quickly. Though, I rarely get it drenched or soaked. This microfiber bath mat is machine washable, and it can be thrown into the dryer afterward. There’s nothing better than a comfortable warm bath mat when exiting the shower. My only issue is that I wish it was an actual shaggy mat.

I do wish it was a bit thicker, but it does its job. I would use it in a bathroom with less activity because when multiple people used the rug after their shower, it took a bit long to dry fully.

It’s so, so soft that stepping on it feels downright luxurious—like a little spa moment every time I get out of the shower. The color is gorgeous and calming, a peaceful green that reminds me of a soft matcha (or what people call “millennial green”). As a millennial myself, I think it’s absolutely adorable and on trend. I love it so much that I want all my other mats to be this plush, and I’m already planning to buy more products from this brand. I haven’t washed it yet, so I can’t speak to how it holds up after laundry day, but for now it’s a 5-star winner in comfort, style, and quality!
