Q: The description says these door stops are stackable. How can they be stacked? Would stacking them make them suitable for doors with a gap greater than one inch between the bottom of the door and the floor?

A: These wedges stack by nesting one wedge on top of another wedge:
1. Place first wedge flat on floor (high‑end under door).
2. Set a second wedge on top of the first one, aligning their sloped profiles together.
For gaps just over 1" up to ~1.96”: stacking two wedges is what the “stackable” feature is designed for.
Not recommended for gaps above ~2 inches; stacked rubber wedges will lack stability.
If you have a very large door gap, a dedicated taller‑height single‑piece door wedge is more reliable.
