They are not what they used to be
These were the ONLY chips I would eat. I purchased a bag recently and was disappointed. Tasted like any other chip. Not happy I haven’t repurchased. I did again today thinking maybe the batch was bad, not properly stored but NO. The chips have been changed. I will not purchase again.

What changed?
Notice in 2025 that something has changed with my favorite chip . Gone ate the days of sorting through the bag for the best wrinkled/ folded ones with the best crunch and tast. Now they tast stale and like a ( regular chip) what happened to my old stand by.

no longer my favorite chip since TBHQ & BHT added to protect flavor
since november 2025 noticed that grandmas have changed. They seem stale, less crunchy since the additions of TBHQ & BHT. WHY NOT JUST POTATOES OIL AND SALT LIKE THE OTHER PRODUCT LINES. IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT

Flavor Option
Love grandma Utz original chips, BBQ not so much....Also love the Utz RedHot chips - I would ask that Utz put the RedHot seasoning on Grandma Utz style chips- i sometimes get a bag of each and mix them for the Red Hot FLAVOR, and would rather have only the LARD chips NOT the oil cooked chips

Grandma Utz is superior!
