The taste of our Grandma Utz Kettle-Style Potato Chips hearkens back to the original flavors of our PA Dutch tradition! Made from slightly thicker slices, the chips are hand-stirred in individual batches for an extra-special crunch. The finished chips are drained, lightly salted while still warm, cooled, and then sealed in our iconic Grandma Utz bags - ready to enjoy!

Love grandma Utz original chips, BBQ not so much....Also love the Utz RedHot chips - I would ask that Utz put the RedHot seasoning on Grandma Utz style chips- i sometimes get a bag of each and mix them for the Red Hot FLAVOR, and would rather have only the LARD chips NOT the oil cooked chips

Thank you for cooking with lard which is good for us. The taste is great which is a bonus over other makers of kettle chips. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been a while since eating these. I immediately noticed a disappointing change in flavor. They lacked that strong potato sensation that others I heard mention them lacking recently. Then I noticed added ingredients which never use to be there. Grandma Utz was always the best; however, now I'd list Diefenbach"s as the #1 on the market. Potatoes, lard, and salt...simple but good.

Not as I remember
Bought a bag of these recently because I was craving this particular brand. Sorry to say they are not the same as I remembered and didn't even look the same. Thought I got the wrong bag. No, seems the recipe was changed. And not to my liking. Now they're just like any other chip. Will have to find another kettle style brand. 😮💨 And being from PA now living in VA, that's sad.
