    Change in flavor and texture

    I enjoyed Utz chips for years and have recently noticed a significant change in the product. After a couple ofmonths of hoping it was an anomaly I have permanently switched to a different brand. The brand i’m now purchasing is more expensive but much better than your new product. Reminds me of when they changed the original Coca Cola recipe. Good luck.

    Awesome Potato Chips!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tasted Utz for the first time last month while visiting my 99 year old father. Utz is the only brand he will eat!!! I was hooked after my first handful! Returning home I realized I needed to order them on line as local stores don’t carry them. So I ordered a case! I am happy to report they lost nothing in translation: the potato chips still have the same great taste 3000 miles away!

    Not like they used to be

    I have stayed away from potato chips for years because of weight/health reasons. I remember Utz fondly from my younger years. They were the best potato chips! I recently splurged on Utz “original” chips. Nowhere near the original. They tasted like Pringles back in the day! I hated how Pringles thought they were potato chips! Utz’s were REAL potato chips. Now they are thick and tasteless. So sad. Why do you market them as “original.?”

    Change in Seasoning?

    Once I tasted the kettle style, smokin’-sweet bbq chips, I knew I had found the ultimate bbq chip. FULL of flavor, this chip was crunchy and had a ton of bbq seasoning that had such great taste. However, the past few times I’ve bought them, they don’t taste as good, seems the seasoning has been GREATLY reduced making them very plain. After buying my 4th bag within a month it was obvious the seasoning isn’t what it used to be and it’s disappointing. I don’t know too many people who like “lightly seasoned” bbq chips, where the flavor just isn’t quite there. Maybe it’s to save the company money but I don’t think I’m going to buy them again.

    Perfect!

    These potato chips remind me of Bockman potato chips, they are a little sick not too salty and very flavorful, and they also have a little bit of that rustic taste, simply perfect to me !
