We started Van Leeuwen Ice Cream in a yellow truck on the streets of NYC in 2008 with a mission to make good ice cream that makes you feel good. Nowadays, people can spend so much time on what’s “healthy” they don’t stop to consider what’s healthy. As far as we’re concerned, happiness is healthiness.

This ice cream has a great traditional caramel flavor and the perfect amount of creamy vs. crunch. It is very sweet. I'm not sure I could eat a large quantity at once for this reason, but it's excellent and worth adding to your freezer (and your day!).

No honey in it
Disappointment #1 - There is no honey in this. Expected honey flavored ice cream, which is why I bought it. #2 - Contains coconut oil, which I can't eat. #3 - Contains hard bits of caramel, which can break dental work or devices in the mouth. Basically no-one could eat this or wanted to eat this. $$$ down the drain. Too sweet, as well.

Addicting!
I was skeptical about the price but I’d been eyeing this ice cream for awhile- and I grabbed this because I didn’t want to block the way for other shoppers. It’s so good! If you’re going to get ice cream- just get this. It’s unreal how creamy and delicious it is. I just worry I’ll get addicted !
