Velveeta Buffalo Mac & Cheese - 11oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My children don't usually like buffalo styled items but we took a chance. It was easy to prepare the Velveeta Shells & Cheese Buffalo Style. The smell when we tore open the cheese packet was amazing. We served the Mlmac and cheese with boneless wings on top and a drizzle of sour cream and sprinkle of green onions. It was amazing and gobbled up by everyone in the family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the flavor and consistency is as good as velveeta usually is, but spicier which is good.. but i have one complaint. a buffalo sauce would’ve been better than the buffalo flavoring packet. the flavor tended to clump together in one place and flavor wasn’t greatly distributed. another issue i ran into was that my store had 4 month EXPIRED buffalo velveeta. i wanted to exchange for a non expired box but all had the same date i already had. ended up keeping and trying the expired one i bought but wouldn’t buy again given the circumstance. not sure if thats a quality control issue with velveeta or the target i shopped at but someone should figure that out for a better experience for all! wish i could’ve had a better experience though.. i love the original velveeta and thought this would be good to try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Velveeta Shells & Cheese Buffalo Style is quick and easy to make. It has a lot of artificial added ingredients that are a bit concerning. The sauce is creamy and has the buffalo spicy flavor. I wish it had less ingredients.

I didn’t want something so spicy it overpowered the creamy cheese, but I also didn’t want it to be bland. This actually nailed it. The heat is there, but it’s balanced. It’s got that tangy, zesty Buffalo flavor that wakes up your mouth without making you reach for a glass of milk after every bite. The creamy cheese sauce still shines, which I was happy to see. It’s that smooth, rich Velveeta taste that’s always been comforting to me, but with an extra layer of flavor that makes it feel like more than just a quick mac and cheese fix. It’s not just spicy for the sake of being spicy. The Buffalo flavor adds something real to it. I found myself going back for seconds without even thinking about it. When I but a Buffalo flavored product I expect it to be zesty and spicy and flavorful and thos absolutely was not it. The concept is a great idea, but the product needs to match.
