Just Pineapple and Lemon juice now
They changed the formula and took everything good out. They ONLY list Pineapple juice and lemon juice as the ingredients because everything else is a trace negligible amount, if they even add it at all anymore. Total waste of money and they have lost a very loyal customer in me. What a disappointment. Private equity ruins yet another great brand.

The "black dots" are literally one of the four main ingredients
Just came across these while nursing the flu and decided to try them, since fresh ginger and turmeric are fussy to work with. This feels like a convenient next best thing. The reviews who mentioned it's spicy, oh boy, they were right 💀 If you're sensitive to that, it's good to have something on hand like milk or horchata to use as a chaser. On that note, I wanted to address the most recently posted review (reported for inaccuracy) warning other shoppers that these shots are "old" because they contain "black dots," and that Target won't accept returns in spite of that. Well, um... those black dots are the pepper. You know, one of the four ingredients that they advertise on the bottle. The main thing that makes it spicy. It's supposed to look like that. Buy the 4-pack for the best value 👍

There may be a white substance (ginger) and sometimes you will also see dark colored specks which is the settling of the black pepper. This is normal sediment, as we don't use preservatives, and the cold pressing process can cause separation. Always shake it up before use!

"Why is it sPiCy!?" lol
A punch to the throat lol the ginger is really strong so it has a spicy taste. Definitely felt alive after taking it. Not a wellness shot person but decided to try, if I’m feeling low energy this will definitely be something I will purchase again.
