Q: Do the shelves need to be installed? I want to hang brooms and other long cleaning items. Can I install the cabinet without shelves in it or do they impact the structural integrity?

A: You can install without the removable shelfs, the one in the middle is fixed and if not used it will significantly reduce structural integrity and sway side to side sway causing doors to misalign.

I made the mistake of ignoring the negative reviews, thinking my experience would be different—big mistake. This wall-mounted space-saving cabinet seemed perfect for what I needed, but it arrived late and in terrible condition. It was missing all the mounting hardware, shelves, and door handles. On top of that, the cabinet parts were chipped, dented. This is honestly one of the worst purchases I’ve ever made—and that’s saying a lot. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. I wish it was possible to give it negaive stars.

This cabinet is perfect for our needs. I read all low rating reviews and it seems most didn’t understand what the product was exactly. This is an extremely narrow shelving unit. It is only about 5.5” inches deep. If you want a normal, deeper cabinet. Do not buy this. There is no back as this is wall mounted. The space in between the two doors can be adjusted (up/dn in/out, and to correct slant) per the instructions. There is a cutout on the bottom back to allow for a baseboard but is only about 3” tall. If your baseboard is taller you would need to cut this out a little more.

Just what we were looking for
This is exactly what we were looking for in our kitchen hallway. Easy assembly. Bought 2 and pot them side by side. We swapped the handles to match the others in our kitchen. This attaches directly to the wall. We did that, raised it about a foot, and added additional supports. Sure saved us from building a thin cabinet or in stud shelves.

Expensive, but what we needed
Worked great for what we needed it for. We used it to hold our central vacuum hose behind my laundry room door. No back on it so we were able to hang the hook on the wall. We didn’t use any of the shelves. Only gave it four stars since the doors don’t seem to be even, it is particle board and really just an expensive frame. Probably not worth the $100 we spent, but it was the size we needed.

Shallow storage space. Bought for $11 and don’t think it’s worth more than that. There is definitely no backing included. I can fit some cleaners, toddler shoes, cans of food, etc on the shelves.

Just Meh
Note that there is NO BACK to this cabinet. If you have baseboard molding, it will not be flush against the wall, leaving a gap between the back of each shelf and your wall. Also, these are THIN shelves. Like they are not kidding when it says "shallow." Good for a bottle of paint, but like, not even a shoe to rest fully sideways. The photo with a grass basket in the promos must be fake, because none of my baskets fit, even my small tray. Quality is what you would expect with particle board, and way overpriced, I think it should be $50.

Doors are an issue
The doors stick upon opening and closing. I’m worried that this won’t last too long. Also (related) there’s a huge seam between the doors - as in, when the doors are both closed you can still see through into the cabinet; there’s about a half inch daylight between the two doors. My husband is very handy, he can handle major construction projects so this is a design flaw rather than user error. We already put it together and it wasn’t expensive or else I would take it back because this is going to irritate me forever. Great idea for a bathroom storage space behind the door, though.
