About the Author

LUKE PEARSON is a cartoonist, illustrator and writer best known for the Hilda series of comics and the animated series of the same name, the first season of which was the winner of the BAFTA Children's Award for Best Animation in 2019 and garnered a number of Emmy awards. His Hilda books have received rave reviews and many honors, including the Eisner Award for Best Publication for Early Readers in 2025. Luke has also been a storyboard artist on the cult classic show Adventure Time. He lives and works in Nottingham in the United Kingdom. Whatever You Do . . . marks Luke's picture book debut.
