was a great purchase whle it lasted... which was not long. really frustrating to have something that should feasibly last several years completely zonk out after five months of use. i tried different power cables, several phones, case / no case and it's just dead. save your money on something that will last.

Did not come with a cord. I don’t know if it’s just the one I got but for $40 I fully expected to be able to “plug n play”. Now I have the added cost of getting a cord and cube. Reading other reviews, I don’t know if I want to plug it in. Really expensive for not working out of the box.

Pros: looks nice, holds pens and pencils. Cons: The charger is crap. Overheats VERY easily, charges slowly, makes me feel like I’m going to start a fire.

Likely ruin your phone
I am returning. Like other reviewer noted the charger gets too hot. My phone was on for 5 minutes and it was already super hot. I was afraid it would ruin my phone. Super cute but I don’t trust the charger.

Unfortunately, the charger does not "stop charging" -- it overcharged and crashed (overheated) my motherboard on my new iPhone to where the screen burned out. Replacing the screen for $180 didn't work -- phone replacement was needed. Obviously, the $40 it cost was not worth the headaches it's causing.

Not sure why this got such a bad review (and I guess we'll never know since the person didn't write one). I went out on a limb and ordered this for my work desk and it works great! It looks nice, it charges, it holds my pens, and sometimes I use the groove that's meant for a pen as a phone holder for when I don't want to charge my phone. Definitely recommend
