The Worx 8" chainsaw head attachment fits on the WG252 2-in-1 attachment capable to reach all the difficult places. The maximum reach of the tool is 13ft when attached to the pole. The chainsaw head is tool free chain tensioning and automatic lubrication. The head easily attaches to the pole with no tools needed. This includes one 8" chainsaw head.

    Worth the switch from gas.

    About 8 years ago I was looking to replace a gas-powered weed eater and after ready about Worx I decided to give them a try. When I found a great deal on a weed eater/blower package I bought them. I was impressed with both. Trimming is so much quieter now, and no worrying about whether or not it will start. Since then, I bought a saws-all, drill, hedge trimmer, a turbo blower, extendable chain saw, and brad nailer. After 8 years, all the tools still work great and all of the batteries still recharge and work fine.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Helpful to trim tree branches that are higher. At maximum chain tension, chain is still slightly too loose. Oil feed feature works only off and on. Pole is on the “heavier” side. Adjustable saw angle is a nice feature. Next design iteration needs to remedy the problematic issues.

    Had to replace original chain after just 2 uses!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this replacement because the original chain got bound up in saw and actually bent! The saw was used twice and it ruined the chain because it wouldn’t slide in the track ! I was not happy with the apparently poor quality of the chain! Users will need to keep a close eye on the chain tensioner as it DOES NOt seem to be automatic!

    Very poor quality attachment from Worx

    The saw always binds up even on small small vines. I have had trouble with this attachment ever since I bought it. Have change the chain, sharpened the chain and it always binds. I have finally put it up in the back of my storage build and probably never use it again. Going out to by a gas powered pole saw.

    Great Little Extension Chainsaw

    This is a wonderful little tool. Great for cutting hard to reach wood, such as a tree branch that is 10 feet up. A bit awkward at the end of that long extension but I don't know what else one could do. The fact that the extension pole will shorten is a real blessing. That minimizes how much you have to fight.
