Description
The Worx NITRO 20V Pruning Shear/Lopper is perfect for cutting branches, twigs, dead flowers and more up to 1in diameter. These handheld shears are the perfect tool for smaller applications when a full-sized hedge trimmer is not needed and offers more power than manual shears or loppers. At only 2.38 lbs. with battery attached and an ergonomic soft grip handle, the user can operate these shears for longer periods with little to no fatigue. You can also hold these shears with one hand, versus a manual lopper where you must operate with both hands. The compact brushless motor offers greater power, extended runtimes, and longer life versus tools with a brushed motor design. The titanium coating on the blades decreases friction, makes for easier cutting, and protects against rust erosion. The Worx NITRO line of Outdoor Power Equipment has the power to outperform standard battery-operated garden equipment. This particular Worx 20V Power Share tool doesn’t come with a battery. It’s meant for Power Share users that already have some batteries at home. That’s the great thing about Power Share tools, you save money because you don’t always have to buy the battery.

A: Hello Valued Customer, thank you for your question. This tool is part of the power share line! This means any 20v Max Lithium Battery you may have will work on the unit. We have quite a few batteries ranging in different Amp Hours, this will effect the runtime. The higher you go in Amp Hours the longer run time you will get. Thank you for choosing WORX!

Great Worx!
I’m very pleased with every Worx tool I have purchased! Every time I run across a new project, I look for a Worx tool to do the trick! I have the power wand (washer), weed eater, hedge trimmer, leaf blower, circular saw, saws all, chainsaw, pruner, scissor, and stapler! I am very happy and impressed with how well they all worx!!

I am in my mid 60's and love planting/gardening. I do most of my yard planting, gardening and pruning. I wanted to be able to prune, trim, deadhead without having to use hand clippers or the big bulky snippers/clippers....longer than my arms and needing more muscle than I had. I love the Brushless Pruning Shear, light weight, handheld, uses my other Worx batteries. Great for end of season, raspberries, tomatoes, grapevines, bushes to name a few.

Amazing tool. There is no way I could power through the trees and shrubs that i was able to work on. I have several other power share tools, so i didn't need more batteries. I received an email with a sale for the tool only sale. I actually was ordering the grass trimmer and hedge trimmer. I saw the pruner and decided at the last minute to add it to my order. It as a great decision. My neighbor even tried it out and loved it. He is hard to impress and this tool did it.

A Great Tool!
I am so glad I purchased this. I debated whether or not it was worth spending the $$. It was and is sooo worth it. That thing clean cuts through a 1-inch branch as easily as a half-inch twig! The battery lasts forever, too. If you are on the fence about purchasing this tool I recommend getting off the fence and start pruning with your new loppers!

Easy to use.
The pruner works great. I have arthritis in my hands and after a day of using regular hand pruners was painful. These are easy to use and quite powerful.

Slow
Tool works great after it starts, works for a while then quits,I first thought it was a faulty battery but after I tried several, I knew that was not the problem, next I thought that it was a loose connection but shaking it doesn't help, when green light finally comes on it works great, just a bit of troublesome, love the tool for the way it cuts small branches, just don't like having to pull trigger several times and wait for tool to start working

Great Little Work Saver!
I needed something to help me trim my palm trees. I found manual pruners too hard for my hands and the chainsaw I bought was too cumbersome so I ordered this tool instead. Am I ever glad I did! I did all of my 4 palms and hibiscus trees in less than 2 hours without any pain in my hands. My trees never looked so good and my grounds look like a professional did the work. I'm glad I had extra batteries because I did notice that the battery had to be changed out once during the 2 hours of work I put it through. No longer will I be procrastinating from tree trimming! Strong little tool
I bought the pruning shear/lopper because I was having difficulty cutting some of the branches with my regular tool and it became tiresome after a while. This lopper is great. It even easily cuts through some of the slightly bigger twigs that I had trouble with. I got the tool only because I already had the batteries from my other tools. I like my WORX tools.

Better performance than expected
Bought this lopper to replace traditional manual one due to loss of one hand. Does an excellent job. Able to trim tree limbs and branches with no issues.
