I like the craftsmanship and durability of this product. I had recently bought a popular name, brand set of flatware that I was very disappointed in. It was too lightweight, thin, and felt cheap to the touch. I returned it to the store. I did some AI research and learn learned about what to look for when purchasing quality flatware, and landed on this set. It was everything I expected and more. The standing knife feature was an excellent surprise. The finish is beautiful and will make my place settings on holidays extra beautiful. I don’t think I’ll need to buy another set of flatware ever.

While this set has many good parts such as its durability and aesthetics, the knives drag the whole thing down. Their uniqueness is at first intriguing, but it is less practical than one would think. If the blade is put sharp edge down it may reduce the range of stain upon your tablecloth; however, it will consequently increase the severity of the mess wrought upon it. Now, one may think to rest the blade atop one’s plate, however this is the knive’s most devious scheme. After being placed onto the plate, the knife becomes a ticking time bomb, and if the plate is ever moved in any way, the knife will fall and spread grime and noise throughout your dining area. Overall it is a fine dining set held back by an abysmal knife.

I’ve been looking for new flatware for a long time and I just love it. It’s so pretty and it’s going to hopefully be beyond my table for a very long time.

Product is good but the fatal flaw is that the knives do not fit well into a cutlery drawer. They should make some sort of custom cutlery holder for this set due to the obscure knife design

I’ll keep it straight to the point. I purchased these for my Fiancé. We both were raised to hold silverware in European manner. Regardless of what the other reviews say the knives are probably the most comfortable knives I’ve held in a long time, even if they’re quirky to use and balance isn’t perfect. On the other hand the forks lack some weight and if you hold forks upside down, the square butt of the fork is very sharp on the palm of the hand. Again this is dependent on how the forks are held, but my fiancé said she will never like using these forks.

Solid, well made, pieces are well balanced. These are the first flatware I haven't bent in basic use. The design is simple, elegant and nice in the hand. For me, the teaspoon is just a bit short. Finish is still bright years after purchase - returned to replace pieces lost to small hands and school / garbage / carelessness. We have had for years and never regretted. No signs of rust or discoloration at any time. Knife design is superior.

We love our new silverware. 61 years ago I received Oneida silverware for a wedding present which I still use at our lake home. I had purchased other silverware to replace that and it soon had rust on the knife edges and looked all scratched up and dull. Our new silverware is bright and shiny even after coming out of the dishwasher and we love the knife shape.

I have and love the satin set. I hate that to get replacements for missing pieces i need to purchase a whole 45pc set instead of a 23 piece set. I would actually be happy with a replacenment set that does not include the serving pieces.

The set is very pretty, but the spoons are much larger than a standard dinner spoon—more like soup or small serving spoons. Unfortunately, I had to return it for that reason.

Pros: Heavy, quality feel in hands, lovely mirror finish adds a touch of class, the shape of the handles feels really nice, easy to grasp, the knives take a little getting used to but they are so much better than laying a buttered knife on the side, and they stay stable when setting them down as well Cons: Not much!
