I am thrilled with my new flatware set. I ordered it online based on the design and the fact that it's food-grade18/10 Steel. But I was delightfully surprised when I received the flatware, it's absolutely gorgeous! It has a comfortable grip and balance, very solid. I have the polished set now and have already ordered the matte set. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Quality, design, and healthy at a great price. What's not to love?!

I’m very Type A about purchases like this, so I did a ridiculous amount of research before choosing new flatware. I knew I wanted 18/10 stainless steel, which narrowed things down quite a bit. I ended up ordering three different sets to compare in person, and the Zwilling Opus was the one I kept. The first thing I noticed was how much better the finish was. Everything was smooth, with no rough or sharp edges. One of the other sets I ordered had scratches, tiny rust spots, and a fork with such a jagged edge that I wouldn’t have wanted to put it in my mouth. After seeing that, I appreciated how nicely finished the Opus was even more. I also really like the weight. They have a nice heft to them and feel substantial without being too heavy. The spoons are a good size, and the knife was the most comfortable of the three sets I tried. The shape is a little less traditional, but it feels really good in the hand. I also liked that I can buy another full place setting or individual pieces later instead of having to buy another whole boxed set. Opus has been around for a long time and has reviews going back nearly 20 years, so I’m hopeful that if I lose a fork or spoon years from now, I’ll still be able to replace it. I only have two small complaints. The ends of the handles are narrow enough that they sometimes slip into the grates in the flatware section of my dishwasher and get a little stuck. I also wish the dinner fork looked a little more different from the salad fork. It’s basically the same shape, just bigger, and I would have preferred longer, slimmer tines. Those are both minor things, though. I’m happy with the set and, after comparing all three in person, I’m glad this is the one I kept.

It is heavier than I expected but not too heavy that makes me don’t want to use it. Very nice quality, the design makes it comfortable to use everyday. The only thing is with older people, it might be a heavy set for them. Haven’t washed in dishwasher that so I can’t comment on it but overall nice quality set, perfect for wedding gift.

Just purchased, like the finish and the feel and weight

We ordered this product on-line from the Military Exchange system. My wife was skeptical about the price. I liked the looks and definitely like the manufacturer - Zwilling. Having used it for about a month, my wife acknowledged that she likes the set and indicated that "you get what you pay for!". The pieces are of good weight and design.
