I was so excited to receive this set—it’s absolutely beautiful in person! Unfortunately, I’ll have to return it and look for a more durable option, even if it costs more. The material already shows signs of peeling, which makes me doubt its longevity and raises concerns about potential food contamination. I would recommend Threshold consider this seriously. I am such a fan of all there products but definitely disappointed by this one.

Color inconsistency after use
Great style and feel, but beware of the color change. The color I purchased was a beautiful champaign, but as you can see in my photo it did not last. The photo is only spoons since these were the most dramatically affected. I primarily use the dishwasher which is an accepted washing method for this model of flatware, but the discoloration began within the first few uses and worsened over time. I purchased 4 sets and have only had them 6 months. I will be reaching out to Target to see what my options are for returns since this is an obvious quality issue.

Increased price, but they still tarnish... No thanks!
I really want to love this Ashby Flatware (especially given the name), but after buying 3 sets and having them all tarnish within less than a year of purchase, AND the fact that Target just increased the price from $50 to $60 without fixing this issue... I cannot recommend this product at all. You'll end up spending $60/year on spoons and forks (and butter knives). It's just not worth it, especially when I really only use the small spoons/forks. IYKYK!
