A: I had the same problem, I purchased enough for 8 settings and they all turned silver.

This flatware set is pretty and shiny. The gold is a nice tone, no weird orangey tone with these. They have gone through the dishwasher many times now and still look as good as new. These are a great way to upgrade your table to a more modern decor style.

I made the mistake by always washing in the dishwasher and unfortunately the brass kind of got matted and they lost their zest. I don’t recommend washing by dishwasher and by hand only! Other than that I do love them and would buy again, I’ll treat them better next time!! They add a fancy vibe to your meals and they’re pretty to look at!!

I purchased these Oct 30th and it’s November 26th. Hand washed TWICE and they are loosing their gold color. So not happy with the quality especially being $50 :( the spoon in the picture was used literally 1 time…

i’ve had the gold set for about 7 months now and they still look almost brand new. i have never put them in the dishwasher once, only hand washed them so maybe that’s the reason but i think they have held up beautifully. i just looked at them really closely and noticed a few marks here and there but i never even noticed until this moment. they are absolutely worth the price seeing as i use them all the time and they still look this great!

I found that these utensils don’t stain like the comments say. I do clean my flatware immediately and do not let it sit around. These are beautiful! They really gave my kitchen that touch I was looking for. The crate and barrel flatware can wait!

Purchased the Silver set and ran them through the dishwasher, as the box said you could. When I used the knives they all left black, tarnish like marks on food. Thinking maybe something happened in the dishwasher I ran them again with silverware more spread out. Even after several washes AND hand washing this set leaves black, mold looking, tarnish marks on food. Huge waste of money and without the boxes I cannot return these. Do not recommend any silverware from Target under this label.
