rack cable manager

These horizontal cable managers are primarily offered in 1U and 2U rack-unit heights.

Rack cable managers are typically built from steel with plastic components — for example, steel bodies paired with plastic slotted or finger-duct covers.

They mount to a standard 19" rack and are compatible with 2-post or 4-post configurations, using a 19"-wide panel with #12-24 threaded EIA hole mounting.

These managers accommodate a variety of cable types, including fiber, coax, and patch/network cables, making them suitable for many structured-cabling applications.

Features include slotted/finger-duct fingers, rear pass-through holes, and built-in cable strain-relief points in the rack-mount design to protect cables and connectors.

They use removable or snap-hinged covers so the finger-duct can open from the top or bottom for easy access and cable separation; the cover protects cables when closed.

All models are 19" wide. Heights range from about 1.72" (1U) up to about 3.50" (2U), and depths vary by model, typically from about 3.18" to 4.50".

By routing and organizing cables away from equipment, they improve passive airflow around devices and provide strain relief; these effects help maintain optimal operating temperatures and can contribute to longer equipment life.

They follow standard 19" rack dimensions and EIA mounting patterns (using #12-24 threaded EIA holes) and are described as DEIA/ECA-310-E compatible for typical rack use.
