safety foam corner protectors

Most listings describe quick, one-person installation: peel the adhesive backing and press the cushion onto a clean, flat surface. Many edge products use pressure-sensitive/pre-applied adhesive and note they can be removed without leaving glue marks; follow the manufacturer’s removal instructions to avoid residue.

Options shown include a clear/transparent PVC finish plus several colored foam choices such as brown, gray, taupe, black, and ivory.

They are designed for flat, smooth surfaces such as finished wood, metal, glass, and plastic. Several listings note they are not intended for rough surfaces like brick, river rock, or rugged stone (some sellers suggest using carpet tape or other alternative adhesive methods for rough stone if needed).

Commonly listed safety attributes include flame-resistant foam, latex-free and phthalate-free materials, closed-cell foam construction, and cushioning designed to reduce impact. Corner and edge items also highlight secure adhesion to resist peeling and wording that they help avoid accidental ingestion.

Kits commonly include corner pads plus straight padding pieces sized for the hearth layout. Many listings also include or reference pre-taped, double-backed adhesive and pieces that can be trimmed to fit specific hearth dimensions.
