Q: A lot of people have complained that there is a burnt chemical smell after washing but I also see more reviews of people not complaining of that. Should I be worried does it have a burning smell?

submitted by NikkiluvsDecor - 2 years ago

  • A: I have not had that experience whatsoever! I love my sheets! No smell for me.

submitted byLex - 1 year ago

  • A: No, these are the best sheets! They wash very well and have no odor at all.

    submitted byChristine M - 1 year ago

  • A: I’m super sensitive to smells and have a good nose and no. I have never had a smell issue with this sheet.

submitted bySusie - 6 months ago

  • A: I washed these sheets and there was no burnt smell. These sheets are absolutely beautiful. Pricey, but I am not sorry I got them because I love them. I wish they came in a chambray blue.

    submitted byGinger7 - 7 months ago

  • A: I have these in White, queen. There is no smell. I wish people would put the size and color when they write bad reviews because every size and color goes through its own manufacturing line and the reality of it is maybe there was an issue with a particular color in a particular size. Target could very easily enhance the review feature to show what the customer purchased as part of the review.

submitted byAle - 5 months ago

  • A: We bought the queen set in beige. There was no smell but these sheets have been awful. We bought in Nov and the fitted sheet ripped months ago, pillowcases slip off, flat sheet is ridiculously long.

submitted byDae - 4 months ago

  • A: I have these and there is no smell. I dried them at the normal setting and they came out perfect. Best sheets ever!

submitted byStacey - 1 year ago

  • A: There was no smell before or after washing the sheets. Loving the quality of these sheets

submitted byNyse - 1 year ago

  • A: Bamboo sheets smell burnt when drying due to overheating in the dryer, which damages fibers; using high heat, fabric softener, or dryer sheets; or lint buildup in the dryer, but can also stem from residual chemicals in the fabric from processing or detergent, making low/no heat, air drying, and mild detergents crucial for bamboo. I use baking soda, wash in cold water, and dry on medium heat. No problem at all.

Q: I washed these sheets and added fabric softener beads and then dryer sheets. Have I ruined the fibers in them? Or can I wash them again and they be okay? I hope I didn’t ruin them 😬

submitted by Kristen - 6 months ago

  • A: Hi Guest - Thank you for the inquiry. One wash with fabric softener beads and dryer sheets likely does not ruin the Casaluna 400 Thread Count Rayon from Bamboo Sheet Set sheets, and rewashing them without softeners should help remove any residue. Hope this help! - Kris

I was a little skeptical ordering these sheets since I’m a 100% cotton type of person but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I love these sheets and how cozy and comfortable they feel. They’re soft and luxurious and I give them a big thumbs up.

    Worth it!

I’ve bought sheets from Target before and have ended up not liking them after a few washes, but that is not the case with these sheets. These are have a cooling-ish feel, are quite soft, and have thus far washed really well. The fig brown is a beautiful color!

I love these sheets! :) I tend to sleep hot, and these have been really soft and cooling throughout the night. I also really appreciate the top and bottom indicators, which make it so much easier to put the fitted sheet on. Such a thoughtful and practical detail!

    Living in luxury!

These sheets are amazing! Very comfortable and cooling. They feel very luxurious. We got the Ivory color and they’re a little more of a champagne color than ivory but we still are very happy with them! Would highly recommend!

    Cozy and cool!

The only problem with these sheets is that they are so comfortable that I almost couldn't get out of bed! Somehow they achieve a coziness while also being nice and cool. I really appreciate the elastic on each corner of the fitted sheet, as well as the tags indicating top or bottom.

    Kept me cool

I have to say that I really like these sheets! I didn't know if I would at first because of the texture but after washing them and putting them on the bed...I love them! I tend to "sleep hot" and these cheets kept me cool all night. They are great!

These sheets are so wonderful! They are silky, smooth, heavy (in a good way), and so soft! They washed up really well, and I absolutely loved the color (brown)! I sleep hot, so the cooling effect of these sheets was so nice! And they were plenty big to wrap around my mattress and tuck in on both sides. The first thing my husband said when he woke up is “I love these sheets!”

I am extremely happy with my new King Bamboo Sheet set…they are extremely soft and silky, and after several nights of great sleep, they remain snugly fitted on my mattress and unwrinkled…I was seeking an Ivory color to complement my floral duvet set, and I am so pleased. Sometimes Ivory equals “vanilla,” and I was trying to avoid that. These sheets and thread count offer an elevated look and feel for a fair price…Definitely enjoying so far!
