to regrow hair on the top of the scalp (vertex only, see pictures on side of carton)

Directions

apply one mL with dropper 2 times a day directly onto the scalp in the hair loss area using more or more often will not improve results continued use is necessary to increase and keep your hair regrowth, or hair loss will begin again

see hair loss pictures on side of this carton before use, read all information on carton and enclosed leaflet keep the carton. It contains important information. hair regrowth has not been shown to last longer than 48 weeks in large clinical trials with continuous treatment with minoxidil topical solution 5% for men in clinical studies with mostly white men aged 18-49 years with moderate degrees of hair loss, minoxidil topical solution 5% for men provided more hair regrowth than minoxidil topical solution 2% store at 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F). Keep tightly closed.

  • A: It’s because 5% wasn’t approved by the FDA for women, only for men. It isn’t the company’s fault. They legally can’t market this to women. Just use it if you identify as a woman. Plenty of other women do.

The FDA recommendation for men is twice a day while only once a day for women, so the packaging can specifically note it is for men if the directions on the back include the dosing recommendation for men. Women could also buy it but just use it once a day if they want to align with the recommended dosage

    Contaminated/unsealed

    I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel I should bring some awareness. These bottles are not sealed. I developed irritation, inflammation, and an infection on my scalp from this product. I was using the foam CVS brand Rogaine (with no issues), but decided to purchase this Target brand when I had other items to get at Target. The box was sealed, but the bottles themselves are not sealed. I hope Target doesn’t put used items like this back on the shelf.

    It works

    After trying this minoxidil hair treatment I can tell my is growing in areas where I didn't have any hair and it's growing more abundant.the treatment is very easy to apply and the results are amazing I can definitely see more hair growth. The hair is starting to grow thicker and faster overall I'm very impressed with this product the results speak for themselves.     Lets hope this works

    I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. As a middle-aged man, I'm looking for products to regrow my hair and prevent further loss. I was excited to try the Up&Up brand minoxidil as it comes in an easy to use three months supply. The package has three one month bottles in it with an easy to use dropper. You're supposed to use it twice a day, which I found to be a little annoying to have to remember to do it both in the morning and at night. My other complaint was that the solution is really oily on your fingers, but you just wash your hands and are OK. It's too soon to tell if I'm getting any results or not, but I will update my review in a few weeks.
