Q: I have curly hair and use a curl cream and mousse on wet hair. Would I apply this to my scalp after drying my hair?
A: I am so very glad that you asked this question, (and grateful for the simple explanation given!)I The video depicts woman towel drying her hair as “Step 1” of “How to use product.” I WAS CONFUSED!! Towel drying is usually preceded (in my routine) by shampooing!!)So then I was further confused! My personal hair care routine doesn’t include washing daily & I find that frequently doing so increases my hair loss!!
submitted bytiedyecarolinagirl - 2 months agoA: Great question! Yes, Women's Rogaine 5% Minoxidil Foam should be applied to a dry scalp. It's important to ensure the hair and scalp are completely dry before application, as the foam needs to fully absorb into the scalp for optimal effectiveness. Q: Why is the women’s more expensive than the men’s if they have the same ingredients?
A: Yes, the two products are identical. The only difference is the packaging and the cost, so buy the men's and just use it once a day instead of twice. Just another way corporations scam women.
submitted byStop the insanity - 25 days agoA: Hi, while the two products have the same FDA approved active and inactive ingredient, each product was supported by unique clinical studies so the FDA reviewed and approved product labeling differs to provide information appropriate to each, e.g. different product safety/warning information, and to ensure safe and effective product use. One specific difference in labeling is dosage: Men’s Rogaine® Foam should be applied twice daily, while Women’s Rogaine® Foam should be applied just once daily. There are also differences in product application instructions that are necessary because typical hair loss patterns differ between men and women.

Q: For years I've heard that women should only use 2% Minoxidil & 5% Minoxidil was only for men. All of a sudden 5% strength is safe for women ? What differs in the 5% for women vs 5% for men formulas ?
A: Men's formulations are formulated for male genetics. Women's formulations are formulated for Female genetics.
submitted byJohnson & Johnson - 2 years agoBrand expertA: The answer from Johnson & Johnson above is bull. They men's and women's have the same active ingredients, the women's just cost more. Only difference is the packaging.
