Great safety future!
These spoons are great. Sometimes I microwave food / purées to warm up for my baby as she prefers warmer food. The color changing future helps me know if it's too hot for her. They're easy to clean and the small spoon size is perfect for my babies mouth. In my image, pic 1 is a cold (dry) spoon, pic 2 is when I put half of the spoon under hot water, and pic 3 is when I put the whole spoon under hot water. So you can see how it changes white when the spoon touches something too hot.

Watch out They stain easily. After 2 washes the carrot puree stain won't come off. I like the concept of ir telling you it's too hot but looking at the in my drawer with stains looks bad.

My Go-To Spoons
I've used these spoons for the last 9 months with my now-toddler and have been very happy with them. I originally got these because the baby spoons I was gifted were way too wide/big when we were first starting purees at 5 months. These munchkin spoons were much narrower but can still hold a decent amount of food. Now, as I am giving my toddler more and more hot food that I've cooked, I turn to these spoons to tell me if the food is too hot. As the other review stated, I did also notice that the lighter colored spoons will stain semi easily, but they have either resolved itself over time or it does not affect the white hot feature.

These spoons stain easily with foods that are orange colored. Once stained, impossible to wash off and the spoons no longer turn white if food is too hot.

Chemical taste!
They all have a chemical taste. I washed with dawn dish soap, babyganics soap and in the dishwasher no matter what it has a chemical taste like its leaking plastic or whatever on your mouth. HEAVY
