Q: Can you use this shopvac to clean up drywall dust and should you use bag to contain the dust
A: I have used this vacuum for just about everything including drywall dust. it will pick it up but suction gets less and less until you scrape off of the filter. But I wouldnt recommend doing tons.
submitted bytuesdayshippie - 8 months agoA: Hi dday55280. No, we do not recommend the VH105 0101 for drywall dust. This is a very fine material and will require a vacuum equipped with a fine dust filter. This vacuum is not dust bag compatible. Q: If there is water in the vac, does everything that is sucked up go into the water?
A: Hi Tracy G. Yes, everything goes into the same reservoir. That said, you should definitely empty liquids from the tank and switch to the dry filter before vacuuming up dry materials. Q: I just sprayed carpet cleaner all over my carpet, I unboxed this Vacmaster, and now I have no idea how to put on the wet foam filter. The user manual doesn't show how. Can someone help?
A: Hi Shopping Lady. Remove the power head/lid from the base and turn it upside down. The round part that sticks out of the middle is the part that the foam filter goes over. Make sure to remove the blue cloth filter first. You can also see this illustrated on page 11 of the operator's manual in the second image. Give us a call at 1-866-384-8432 if you need additional assistance. We'll be happy to help. --Vacmaster Customer Service / Cleva North America, Inc.
