Disappointed

I am so disappointed in the new formulas. My scalp is ultra dry now and my hair feels extremely brittle and oily at the same time. I swore by Nexxus for years but now I’m looking for a new brand.

New formula is awful

I have used Nexxus Therappe for decades. But no longer. The new formula is awful! The first time I used it, my hair felt sticky and tacky when I lathered it. I have long hair and it took forever to rinse that crap out. I let my hair air dry and it was frizzy and coarse. Why change something that works? I figured my husband could use it up but even he noticed. Asked if I had changed shampoo and said he didn’t like it. So I have a huge bottle of shampoo that no one will use. Can you say new coke? You have lost a longtime customer. I do not recommend this product.

Formula change not good

Over the last several months this conditioner has destroyed my hair. I have used nexxus humectress for years so I never put two and two together why my hair has been breaking and shedding so much and my scalp has been more irritated. I didn’t realize what a drastic change to the ingredients was made.No more panthenol elastin, no more keratin, no more coconut oil. I found my old bottle I had saved and in comparison these new ingredients are nothing more than drug store garbage. My hair is no longer getting what it needs from humectress. Maybe one of the other conditioners would be better, but honestly after what this new formula has done to my long beautiful hair, I am terrified to try . I used to love the color assure as well, but I noticed that also had a change in ingredients with in the last two years.

Amazing moisturizing conditioner for dry hair

This conditioner is a god send, it’s great for detangling and moisturizing my hair and my extensions! I live in a dry climate and this conditioner does wonders for keeping my hair moisturized. It smells like salon quality conditioner, the packaging looks sleek and is easy to keep clean in the shower, and rinses out well so your hair doesn’t feel weighed down afterwards and keeps its volume. Would recommend for anyone wanting a good quality moisturizing conditioner.

Target sent the wrong item.

I live this product but it is NOT what Target sent me. So I ordered it a second time for pick up. They made the same mistake again and had the incorrect product waiting for me.

Bring back the old formula

The new formula is horrible. They took out all the moisturizing ingredients. It’s also more expensive now.

Ughhhhh is all I can say! I have absolutely loved and used Nexxus Therappe Moisturizing Shampoo for many, many years and I am so disappointed in the new formula! My hair no longer feels soft, full, nor manageable. It feels limp, dry, and frizzy. Please bring back the old formula. Why mess with perfection by changing it?!?

Poor quality

I have been using nexxus humectress for a long time. Recently the label changed and the formula has also 100% This conditioner used to make my hair so soft and now it makes it feel hard and brittle.

Awful formula change

I have been using nexxus humectress since I was in high school and LOVED it. I have thick hair on the dryer side and this conditioner has always left it silky smooth. Whatever changed has my hair feeling thicker and like starch. I can’t even get my fingers through it . Worst product change ever. I am so disappointed. Will not be purchasing anymore.

The best

The shampoo is the best on the market. I tried all kinds of pricey shampoos I always get sores or maybe I’m allergic to them. This one smells great. Makes my hair very soft and this shampoo does not irritate my scalp.

A great smelling and moisturizing choice!

This conditioner smells lovely and does a great job in between deep conditioning treatments for my super thirsty hair. When I wash it out, my hair actually feels moisturized rather than just coated in something.

Horrible product for dry hair

I have extremely dry thick hair and I use the Nexus shampoo and conditioner specifically made for brittle and dry hair and let me just tell you whoever made this product needs to go back into the lab and redo everything. This is the worst shampoo conditioner I’ve ever used in my whole entire life after when use of the shampoo and conditioner. My hair is even more frizzy, more dry and more brittle.

I’ve been very pleased with the Therapy Shampoo and Humectres Conditioner. I also use the Cimb Thru Hair Spray and Mouse. Very please over the years. My hair feels clean, soft and shiny. Great product.

Received the wrong product twice

This is not a review of the product because I never received the product. Target sent me the wrong product twice now and so I am once again returning it, but I will not ask for a replacement this time, just a refund. Very disappointing that I have to do this twice.

Formula Change. Awful!

Don’t waste your money. This is not the same formula. They took out the protein and keratin in it which makes a huge difference . I have been using this for years. Even my stylist would ask what I was using. My hair was alway soft and shiny. Would not recommend if you liked the product as it was. This change in formula is a bad mistake.

A disaster of a reformulation

What have you done?! I have used Humectress for many, many years. Loved it! I have thick, color-treated hair, and Humectress provided the moisture I needed. This new formula is a huge disappointment. It does NOT moisturize! My hair no longer feels soft! I appreciate the new pump bottle, but I just wish there was a great product inside. Now I will have to see what your competitors can offer. And, by the way, it's time to get the Sulfate out of your shampoos.
