NO LONGER ALLERGY FRIENDLY
It used to be made in a facility free from all allergens but now they are processing egg and soy on the same equipment. That is so disappointing. When your whole brand is targeted toward allergy sufferers you should make more of an effort to make people aware of the change. My son has anaphylactic allergies to eggs and soy but luckily I avidly read labels so I noticed the change, hopefully there’s no one who has trusted this brand and didn’t think to double check the label for changes.

These cookies are so amazing; they taste like regular freshly baked cookies to me. The baking directions are a little off, though -- I have to bake at 325 to the maximum time given for a fully baked cookie. If you want it crispier than that, I would go a couple minutes over. At first I thought it was just my oven, but after seeing other reviews here, it seems to be a common issue with these cookies. But just leave them in a little longer and they're perfect!

Best GF Cookie You Can Buy and Freeze!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been a long-time lover of Sweet Loren’s cookies. As someone who struggles with SIBO, IBS, and gluten and dairy intolerances, I try to eat gluten and dairy free as much as possible. These cookies are the perfect solution for my sweet tooth. They’re easy to make, delicious to eat, and even fools the hubby! (He thinks all GF foods taste “not the same”— he couldn’t even tell with these!) The only down side is the texture. They have sort of a gritty texture that you don’t get with “normal” cookies. This makes them fall apart a little bit easier. That’s the reason for 4 stars and not 5. The taste is unmatched though. So so good!

I can’t eat dairy right now, which is unfortunately in most desserts. These cookies are a good replacement for standard chocolate chip cookies. They’re best a few minutes after they come out of the oven. I really like that they’re pre-scooped so you can make the exact number that you want.
