Q: I'm reading reviews and several people say this easily tips over when a child is climbing in. Has this issue been addressed in the latest version being manufactured?

A: Typically what we have found is that if the child is not age appropriate for the car, the child may have more trouble entering and exiting the car.

My son never hurt himself, really, and learned to balance better but also, by that time, got too tall to fit and be able to move his legs in it... I think the bottom is a little too tall and having to hold on to it so they can put their legs in is hard for toddlers to do...

Great little car
Bought this on sale and it is a great little car. We were missing the axel caps which hold in the front wheels. Luckily I was able to order them from Amazon for next day delivery but my kids were disappointed that we had to wait to play.

Beware of shipping larger items
The product itself will probably be perfect, but the shipping was very disappointing. The box arrived dented in several places with ‘Target tape’ attempting to hold it together in some places. Cozy coupe
I loved getting to share a piece of my childhood with my kids with their own coupe. We had it for about two weeks and the rear wheels came apart. I have reached out twice without any response for warranty. The wheel rounded out from the axle and isn’t allowing you to push it.

Product arrived damaged
I am extrememly frustrated. I spent a lot of time driving to target to purchase this item, taking it home, unpacking, assembelling, only to be mid way through when I discover that the poles are scratched and dented and also were shipped with clear sticky tape around them so once I removed the tape I was left with sticky poles. It also took me a really long time to remove the tape. Now I have to take it apart and figure out how to fit it all in the box to send it back. A waste of 3 hours of my day only to have an extrememly dissapointed toddler who was excited about her new car and doesn't have the capacity to understand why she can't ride in it now and has to wait for me to go exchange it for a new one and have to build a new one. So frustruating! I would expect more from a $60 product.

Kids love this.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is amazing for my 3-year-old. It’s funny, functional, and keeps her very busy. I love the bright colors and that I can push it around. Also it was pretty easy to put it together. I have way more expensive toy cars, but my kids often wants to play with this one.

Disappointed
Item took a long time to assemble and was complex for what it is. For example it requires you to pound metal into metal to fasten the wheels…didn’t expect that. Also I bought two and one of the sets didn’t come with a set of screws the adhere the top to the base. I had to call little tikes and it will be 7-10 days for them to come in. I know this is a classic but either buy this second hand or look for one of the better toys for kids to enjoy now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This car is the cutest! So much nostalgia from my own childhood. My kids have enjoyed this so much. It’s easy for them to get in and out of, and it’s also super easy for them to push themselves or each other around in. The horn works well and the gas tank opens and closes to “fill up” as well. The only thing that was wrong for us, was that the small red axel caps for the front wheels were missing. We were able to purchase some elsewhere that worked with the car, but they were not included. Without them the car is not useable.
