A: You can, just don't get it wet, very much like a gremlin!

A: No, your birds would definitely stick to this heater.
submitted byDeadSearsCustomer - 5 years agoA: For all of you who think those answers are "cute" ... the reason for the question is that non-stick coatings, when heated, can create fumes which are deadly to birds. That said, ceramic heaters, because they lack the metal coils, do not have that type of coating.

A: This unit is meant for suplimental heat as all portble heaters are. This is not meant as a some supply of heat. But can certainly be uses in a moderate sized room
