Missing pieces
We spend 2 hours assembling this kitchen which would’ve been fine if we had all of the pieces. When we were about 90% finished we realized we were missing the frame for the freezer door. Now the kitchen is complete with big pilot holes visible on the freezer door. It looks ridiculous.

Door handles break easily and cannot be replaced
Overall, an extremely disappointing purchase. My 3 year old broke one of the flimsy door handles and the Melissa and Doug, unfortunately, does not allow you to purchase replacement parts. Overall, I would say it is not a good value for the money. If a child can easily break a part in typical play as intended you need better parts - or at minimum you need to offer replacement parts for purchase. This is now an oversized pile of garbage.

Middle piece was broken. It’s clear somebody tried to glue it together and repaint it with the wrong color paint… but we are past our return date because this was a gift for our daughter who wasn’t ready to use it but now she is… this company is cheating the system Trying to sell broken goods and hoping parents like us get it as a gift and don’t open it for a while.

Love it so much!
I received this kitchen in the mail today and am so happy with it. It only took me an hour and 15 minutes to put together and it wasn’t difficult at all. I’m impressed by the quality and sturdiness although the doors aren’t as sturdy as a regular piece of furniture but I don’t think it’s bad. My 1.5 year old daughter is going to be so excited when she sees this in the morning and I’m very happy with my purchase. I feel like every little kid needs one of these and I should have gotten it for her sooner.

Cute little kitchen! Wish there was a bit more shelving for storage because IF you buy the food, cookware, plates, etc you start to run out of space. We used the top shelf and kept the items in the cute wooden boxes that the items were sent in but still wish there was more storage area! Still LOVE this tho!

Great gift!
We bought this for Christmas for our granddaughter and she absolutely loves it!! Directions were great, they have great titles for each step and helpful hints/reminders. It went together very quickly to my pleasant surprise. The only thing I would change would he to add the metal plates for the door hinges before you fully assemble the unit. We found it difficult to get a screen driver in close enough and most of the screws went in crooked but otherwise everything else was perfect!!

Damaged upon delivery
The box was delivered very damaged and taped together. It was too late to reorder a new one. The screws were open and spilled in the box so at least three are missing from the gaps in the taped up box. Not impressed with the packaging at all!

Target sent us a broken return with missing parts
Came in a busted taped up box. It was clear that someone had tried putting it together before and had pieces broken. We passed the return window since we all ended up with Covid and it sat in the closet. We decided to glue the pieces that were broken and just put it together but it turned out we don’t even have all the hardware for it in the box. It’s not a bad set, just upset that target sent us someone’s broken return and sold it to us with broken and missing parts.

This piece of furniture is as cute as it looks in the photos. We purchased this for our 4 yr old grandchild for Christmas. It went together quite easily. The directions were quite clear (except for the placement of 4 screws). My husband was able to get this set up with minimal problems.

Disappointed
Although my kids love this little kitchen, it came with a broken/damaged piece. We immediately called to get a replacement piece. We were told that it was not currently avalable but to keep checking back. I have followed up several times for 2 months now and cannot get an answer on how to resolve this issue. I am given a different response every time with no real solution.
