Save $40 — A Trash Bag Works Better

A plastic laundry basket for almost 40 dollars has to be a JOKE. The quality of these baskets are absolute garbage, you will get better use out of a hefty trash bag. The durable looking handles are nothing more than a plastic covering to hide the flimsy amount of plastic that actually holds the basket, causing them to snap within the first month of use. KUDOS to the engineering team that had to check Planned Obsolescence off their list. In a world where people are struggling to feed themselves, heres Target selling a total P0S for more than what people make working 3 hours. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves, this is disgusting.

Hip hugger

The Rubbermaid hip hugger is designed for comfort to rest well on hip while carrying. The structural material makes it a well made heavy large basket. This really holds a lot of laundry. The size is large so sometimes it makes it hard to maneuver from basement with my narrow staircase.

Older ones were much better!

Older ones were made durable. I have 2 that are over 25 years od still going strong. After not having a washer and dryer going to the laundromat they held up, but my new one broke after just a few uses. The new "quality" is terrible! Oh the $120 price reduced to $30 is outrageous!

Great hamper.

This fits very well on the hip due to the design and structure of it with the curve in it. It holds a full load of laundry, and these days all of our ironing to be done!

Great basket

This basket is awesome! It is super durable and well made. It’s really easy to wipe down. I love that it has the curve to rest on my hip. This makes it easy to carry with one hand and the other hand being free to carry other stuff. It is sturdy and has lasted me a while.

Sturdy But Handles Do Break

The sturdiness of these baskets is long lasting, except the handles. They do eventually break. Maybe don’t use big loads. Easy to clean. They do fit on the hip. If you have back problems, I would not recommend though.

Wonderful and durable little laundry companion

I have been lugging my dirty clothes into the basement using this basket. It does the job and does it well. Never a moment had I felt that the basket would give way to the weight of all the soiled clothes I stuffed in it. No assembly required!

Could be nice, but handles always break

I have a 3 of these laundry baskets. They are decent but have 1 major flaw: the handles are poorly designed and always end up breaking. Same exact failure mode on all of mine.

Great

I love that this basket has three handles so no matter which way I need to hold it, it works! The plastic is strong and long lasting. The handle grips are comfortable for my fingers and palms to carry larger loads.

I had one of those and I used it for my laundry till it was not usable lol I loved it and I don't have any pictures of it cause I had to throw it away. It an awesome laundry basket.

A home basic must have!

Everyone literally needs one of these! I had a rolling cart for years in my closet and kind of forgot about your original Rubbermaid laundry basket and once I realized I was stressing myself out carrying loads of laundry by hand room to room and dropping things I picked up one of these. I’m so glad I did, they just make life easier and are certainly durable.

I really like this sturdy basket. I have it on top of my dryer at all times. Its assembled very well. I like how well its ventilated..I can leave light item in it to air dry.

Nice but not durable.

This is a nice basket, it's good for carying with one hand on hip. I have two of them. But the durability isn't great. After a few years the plastic on the ends of the handles starts to crack and the handles come off.

Love these baskets . There as heavy as you make them . They are sturdy . I can easily hold it while it's also on my hip. Very easy to carry anywhere. Love it
